Ash Burial in the Holy Land

There are many ways to honor the deceased after cremation. At Aley Shalechet, we offer two options. We can bury all the cremated remains in the soil of the Holy Land which represents, for some people, the ultimate expression of eternal legacy. We provide a permanent resting place for the departed amid pastoral surroundings, thus creating an unforgettable final milestone for loved ones to visit. We can also bury a small portion of the ashes as a symbolic gesture.

We can also bury a small portion of the ashes as a symbolic gesture.

This allows relatives of the departed to retain possession of the majority of the ashes, while ensuring a Holy Land legacy.

We offer several burial options: being interred in a chamber of our own columbarium, in an open field, in a 10urn family plot or in the dedicated plot of the funeral homes.

All those locations are situated in Aley Shalechet’s own cemetery which is only minutes away from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Family, relatives and friends of the deceased are always welcome to visit their departed loved ones. Additional ash burial sites may be available upon request.
